The work in Window Dressing: Cabinets of Curiosityis a site-specific compilation of three parts of the series IN THE HEAD, 2006-2015. There is an 18-foot stretch of installation composed of paper mache, cardboard, wood, yarn, plastic, fabric, paint and styrofoam sculptures propped on readymade plinths. The wall space is composed of ink drawings, text and collaged acrylic works on paper.

  1. Skunk as Pariah.Part 1 references our universal tendency to pass judgement on others. Words that have been historically used in many languages to label others and justify ostracization, wars and abuse, are embedded in the body of images.
  2. Voice of the Clam.Part 2 addresses issues of communication. All sentient beings use the voice for signaling, ritual, storytelling and dialogue.
  3. Echolocation: Bat Stick.Part 3 refers to the concept: That which is put out reflects back.
